If you haven't seen it, go to the nearest anime stop/amazon.com and order/pick it up!
I am so in love with this movie, it's not even funny. Even if this movie is based in a world full of magic and things unknown, it still has a sense of realism to it when (insert spoiler here) happens. It is my favorite movie to date (as well as Spirited Away) because I can personally relate to it, and it still has a touch of innocence to boot.
Tell me what you thought about it! What did you think? Too strong in an element of movie magic, or did everything seem to fall together just as it should? What stood out about it? Discuss!! :3

I am in love with this movie as well <3 it makes me weep. Sophie has such a big heart to forgive then take care of Witch of the Waste— and the part near the end (maybe spoiler…) where she goes back in time to Howl's childhood— awww!! And I love Calcifer. Not to mention Howl is gorgeous : )

I also love Princess Mononoke— the kodama are my favorite— and the forest spirit himself— so rad!

I have never seen this movie but now it looks like I have to. Hopefully I can find a place to rent it. If I can't then we might have to schedule an anime movie night sometime.

This calls for a fangirl squee!! :3 I don't have the movie, sadly—but I'm sure we could find somewhere to rent it from! We should compile a list of what we would like to see as a group! :3 So that everyone can suggest a movie, and we could have something that everyone would come over to see. ^^

That's a great idea Jill!
I have a friend who may want to join us— she has the Ghost in the Shell movie, and 4 Full Metal Alchemist dvd's (not movies but several show episodes)

Otherwise, I'll see any anime movies! (I'm out of town until mid-August, but if I miss the first movie day I'll make it to the next one)

Awesome! :3 I have the FMA movie as well as Witch Hunter Robin (only a few DVD's) as well as Fruits Basket (which is super cute!). Oh, and Spirited Away. :3 So I'll put those up on the list too. ^^

Yep! :3 I used to have Spiral, but they were my friend's. x3 They're still a fantastic anime! ^^ I'll see if I can find it somewhere else so I could put them on the list.
